Glen Goza Friday

A few months ago we warmed your hearts with a video of Glen Goza singing "Goin to Rasslin' (Silver haired, RIC FLAAIRR!)

Today we'd like to take things down a few notches at Wrestling Gold, turn the lights down low, and light a candle to another Glen Goza original, "Heaven Needed a Champion." This was performed at the David Von Erich memorial by some girl. All that matters is its the only song Glen Goza gave us about wrestling besides Goin to Rasslin'.

The Ballad of Hardbody Harrison

I felt compelled to write a post about this little wrestling scandal that came out back in 2007 and never quite got the attention it deserved considering the circumstances.

Hardbody Harrison was a jobber for WCW back in the mid 90's. Nothing special. Think a buffer Norman Smiley with cornrose. As you can see from this WCW clip, he gets the tar kicked out of him by both Kevin Sullivan and Jackie until another notorious criminal runs in to get the match thrown out.

Sometime during his WCW run, Harrison decided to open a wrestling school. Apparently the notion of a simple wrestling school became boring to Harrison, so he turned it into a full on brothel/slave trade. He kept 8 women imprisoned in his house and sold them to customers for sex. He also had them do manual labor (laying sod, hauling dirt, paint, plant trees.

Harrison ran the whole operation with military precision being a former veteran of the Gulf War achieving the rank of Sergeant. Unfortunately for him, one of his uppity slaves turned him in and he's now serving a life sentence for slavery, rape, and sex trafficking.

Bitches be crazy Hardbody, bitches be crazy.
