Breaking News: Zack Ryder Has Officially Won Me Over

I thought I would never say this, but here it goes “My name is Ryan, and I’m a Zach Ryder Fan”. Anybody that can reference Stay Puff Marshmallow Man and Dennis Stamp in a 5 minute YouTube clip is ok by me.

Triple H to Inducted Shawn Michaels

I was personally hoping that the whole Kliq would be inducting Shawn Michaels into the Hall of Fame this weekend. It would’ve been nice to see Nash, Hall, Waltman, and Hunter together, but you do run the risk of shit getting out of hand. So, it makes sense to just have Hunter to it alone.

The Wrestling Road Diaries Plug

If you’re a fan of Colt Cabana or Bryan Danielson or pro wrestling or Beyond the Mat or life on the road or documentaries or this blog, then you will really, really enjoy “The Wrestling Road Diaries”. First off, I love professional wrestling, I love the independent scene, and I love this god damn documentary. I have always looked forward to finding new wrestling documentaries that I haven’t seen before. Beyond the Mat, Wrestling with Shadows, and The Backyard have all been my favorites, but there is a new sheriff in town. The Wrestling Road Diaries gives you a look behind the curtain and let’s you see the life of a professional wrestler.
You get to see Colt Cabana as he makes to return to the indie scene after a two year stint with the WWE. Then you have Bryan Danielson, who is just finishing up on the indies and heading to the WWE. This documentary is very well put together and I guarantee you will be happy with this purchase. If you need anymore reasons, then I have two more for you. First, each copy of the dvd is signed by Colt and Bryan. Second, the money goes right to Mr. Cabana himself. So support Colt and buy it for $20, and for 5 bucks more you can get a bonus disc containing over an hour of deleted scenes. It’ll be the best $25 you’ve ever spent on a wrestling documentary.

Here’s a link to the website to purchase this DVD

The total runtime of this DVD is 2 hours and 40 minutes. (Not including bonus disc)

Victory Road Review

TNA's Victory Road PPV - 3/13/11

Match 1) Tommy Dreamer beat Bully Ray
 - Remember when there use to be a awesome X division match opening the PPV. Not anymore
 - Dreamer hit Ray with a large stuffed Despicable Me character at one point
 - Devon's sons came out and distracted Ray so Devon and Dreamer could hit the 3D on Ray
Match 2) Sarite & Rosita beat  Angelina Love & Winter to win the Knockout Tag Titles
 - Winter came out with a blindfold on. She looked like a pet eagle
 - Velvet tried to help out, but ended up costing Angelina & Winter the titles

Then they cut to the Jarrett's on their honeymoon at Universal Studios with their kids. Alots of pizza and rollercosters. Karen is pissed

Then Matt Morgan interview backstage. He said Hernandez cost him the title. If this is true, then I would like to personally thank Hernandez

Match 3) Hernandez beat Matt Morgan via fake blood
 - This was the first time in a long time that I have seen a finger rank across the back. Thank you Hernandez
 - Morgan did at one point look like Van Helsing trying to kill Dracula
 - The ref got knocked out and Hernandez squirt fake blood on Morgan and got the win

Backstage: One of the Hardys Lite (Gen Me) said it was his birthday and he was going to win the X Division Title. He then said he was going to take it back to the hotel and put it on his birthday cake.

Match 4) Kaz beat Gen Me, and Robbie E in a Ultimate X match to retain the title
 - Alot of awesome spots
 - This would of been a great opening match for the PPV
 - There was this cool spot for Robbie powerbombed Jeremy, who was superplexing Kaz
 - Teased a Gen Me break up. I felt like I was watching the Rockers breaking up again
 - Best match of the night

Honeymoon Update #2: Karen was still pissed, Jeff kept bringing pizza for the kids and being super dad. He then told Karen that she was getting wet. Karen thought vagina, Jeff thought water ride

Match 5) Beer Money beat Ink Inc to retain the Tag Titles
 - Another great match for Beer Money
 - It's good to see that the Tag Team division is alive and well
 - Another teased tag team break up with Ink Inc, this was a common theme tonight

Match 6) AJ beat Cold Blood Matt Hardy
 - Matt has his braided hair again
 - AJ did a cool move where he was whipped to the guardrail, but slid under it. He then jumped up on the rail and dove at Hardy
 - At one point Ric Flair grabbed AJ's junk when the ref wasn't looking
 - AJ hit a Spiral Tap on Hardy from the top rope to get the win
 - Good match thanks to AJ, but that's no surprise

Honeymoon Update #3: Karen is still pissed and says she wants to go back to the hotel. Jeff said that he's going to call a truce with Kurt this Thursday on Impact. Then a big splash of water dumps down on Jeff,Karen, and the kids. Karen got wet.

Match 6) 1# Contender match between Mr Anderson and Rob Van Dam
 - Ended in a double count out
 - What a terrible finish. This is why TNA will never be on the same level or even close to the WWE
 - The whole crowd should a been chanting "Fire Russo" following this finish.

Match 7) Sting beat Jeff Hardy to retain the Divas Championship Belt
 - Bischoff can out and made the match "No Disqualification Match"
 - Sting then proceeded to hit Hardy with two punches and then hit the Scorpion Death Drop for the win. This match lasted under a minute. Terrible

Summary:
I really don't know what to say. I haven't been this upset/disappointed with a PPV since Wrestlemania 2000, and that was only because I wanted Foley to win the title and swore off all wrestling for 4 years. I really had high hopes for this PPV. The Ultimate X match was great, and the Beer Money/ Ink Inc Tag match was solid, but those last two matches left me feeling like I had been raped without any lube. I really had hope for this company, and I have stood by on their side since 2005, but tonight I'm done. TNA you have officially jumped the shark. Please do yourself a favor and buy Ring of Honor's online PPV's on April 1st and 2nd on gofightlive.tv. I personally guarantee you will not be disappointed. It's only $19.95 for both nights and is a far better product, it will make you forget that this PPV ever happen. I also like how Kurt Angle is featured on the poster for this PPV and wasn't even there, but I guess that's what you get when you wait four days before the PPV to announce the card. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go take my scorching hot rape shower.

Breaking News: The Natural Disasters Linked To Japan Tsunami

It has just been reported by the BBC that Earthquake and Typhoon might be responsible for the tragedy in Japan. One witness claims to have seen both suspects early Friday morning in Tokyo. They were believed to be under the influence of alcohol, and were seen performing both of their finishing moves on a tipped over garbage can. It appears that the deadly combination of Earthquake's Earthquake Splash and Typhoon's Tidal Wave was just to much for the "Land of the Rising Sun". Both members of The Natural Disasters could not be reach for comments at this time.

(On a serious note, Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims of the tsunami)

John Cena To Give The Rock A Pearl Necklace

Is it just me or did John Cena just say he was going to jerk off on The Rock's face? I remember when they would have a "Hair vs Mask Match" or "Loser leave town Match", but this might be taking it a bit to far. (Happens at 6:29 mark)

Sunny to be inducted in to the Hall of Fame

I can honestly say that I have spilt more semen over pictures of Sunny than any other woman in the world, and that’s just between 1996 and 1998. When I look back on when I was 12, 13, and 14, all that comes to mind is this Golden Goddess and Cherry Almond Scented Jergens. Oh to be young again when everything was a little bit simpler. I was very fortunate to be live in the crowd when Sunny got slopped by Phineas I. Godwinn on an episode of Superstars in the summer of 96’. Some people can say they were there when Obama gave his acceptance speech for the presidency in Washington DC. Some people can even say they were there when the JFK assassination happened in Dallas, Texas. However, I was there when Sunny got slopped on that fateful Tuesday night in LaCrosse, WI. I had never been more jealous of pig slop in my life until that very moment. Sunny was AOL’s most downloaded woman in 1996, and it appears that she could do it again in 2011. It was announced on Monday Night Raw that she would be inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame. Then the next day Sunny was the number one trending topic on Yahoo! for most of the day.

Impact outside of the Impact Zone

I give TNA two thumbs up for their recent episode of Impact. Just by having it somewhere other than the Impact Zone made the show have a whole different feel to it. It made it feel like TNA could be a legitimate contender to the empire that is WWE. Instead of just having a bunch of tourists watching your show live just because they happen to be at Universal Studios when a taping is going on, you now have real wrestling fans and people that are excited be there. I really hope that they continue in this direction, and judging by the rating they got on Thursday, they will.
