Chris Jericho to dance amongst the Stars

Chris Jericho will be a contestant on the latest season of "Dancing with the Start", and will be partners with the lovely Cheryl Burke. Stay tuned for full reviews of Mr Jericho's performances.

Will The Rock Be On Raw Tonight?

The Rock posted this photo on his facebook page yesterday as a response to John Cena's rap last week. I wondering if Rock will be there live in person or via satellite. Either way, tune in and find out.

Breaking News: Sting and RoboCop to Reunite

It looks like the wrestling world is about to be turned upside down. The two powerhouses are about to team up for the first since May 19th, 1990. Sting has remained active as a pro wrestler ever since then, but the same can not be said for RoboCop. Alex “RoboCop” Murphy has been enjoying retirement from the force since the mid 90’s. He currently resides in Old Detroit with his three calico cats.

The duo once famously struck fear into the Four Horsemen, and now some 20 years later their looking to do it again on a whole new generation of wrestlers. We asked Mr Murphy's manager about exactly inspired this comeback? He claimed that Murphy was watching "Wild Hogs" on TBS and knew what had to be done. When asked for a comment, all that RoboCop had to say was this, “My friends call me Murphy, You can call me RoboCop”. We’re still trying to figure out what exactly that means. He then followed up with "Excuse me, I have to go. Somewhere there is a crime happening".

Danger Will Robinson, Danger: Spoiler Alert for Impact next week

Well it looks like Sting has resigned with TNA and has returned at the Impact taping tonight. This show will air on March 3rd, and it appears that they are taking a jab at WWE's 2/21/11 Undertaker vignettes. Sting beat Jeff Hardy with the Scorpion Deathlock to win the World Heavyweight Championship. If TNA was going to have Sting win the title, then what was even the point of having Hardy win the title 11 days ago. Then again, this is professional wrestling and it is TNA after all.

Mistico is now known as Sin Cara

Mistico signed with the WWE on January 30th, and today at a press conference in Mexico City it was announced that he will be known as "Sin Cara". On a cool side note, "Sin Cara" literally means "No Face". Here is a highlight reel of the amazing Mexican superstar that is Mistico

Goldilocks and The Three Warriors

1990                           1992                           1996
Rod Stewart had to have his pumped because he swallowed too much semen. Richard Gere had a gerbil stuck up his butt and doctors had to get it out. There were three Ultimate Warriors, because the first one died and then they got a replacement Warrior and he died too. Forget the semen and gerbils, THERE WERE THREE ULTIMATE WARRIORS! It’s save to say that this was the first wrestling rumor I ever heard. What really blows my mind is that this was before the internets. This rumor spread across play grounds all over the United States of America in the early and mid 90’s. Allow me to breakdown how this could’ve happened

Warrior’s first run with the WWF ran from 1987 to 1991. This is the jacked up version of the Warrior we remember when you think of him. This is when he feuded with Rick Rude, Andre, and beat Hogan for the title at Wrestlemania 6. Then Summer Slam 91 happened and Mr. Warrior threatened Vince for more money otherwise he wouldn’t wrestle in the main event. This got him fired and he disappeared from the WWF Universe for about 6 months. He made this triumph return at Wrestlemania 7 by saving Hulk Hogan from Papa Shango and Sid Justice. This is where the “replacement” warrior rumor starts, all because he cut his hair shorter and it was darker.

Warrior’s second run with the WWF had my favorite feud of all time. Still remember watching Superstars on that fateful Sunday morning when Papa Shango put a cure on The Warrior. Everything from the green pea soup to black ink running down the face of the Warrior was awesome. I have attached four video below that will get you caught up if you haven’t seen it before, but if your reading this blog right now it’s safe to say you’ve seen it. Warrior stayed with the company until Survivor Series 92. He would stay away from professional wrestling for almost 4 years.

Warrior’s third and final run with the WWF was in 1996. He retuned at Wrestlemania 12 and squashed Triple H in a mere minute and 36 seconds. This time around he feuded with Jerry “The King” Lawler and Goldust, and was gone by July. He did look a little different because of his hair was blonder. You know what, I’m blaming this whole rumor on hair color and hair length. Oh yeah and face paint.

2/21/11 Revealed, No Dice on Sting

Well it’s been finally revealed who 2/21/11 is, and it’s not the Stinger. I don’t know if it’s because of The Rock’s awesome return/promo last week, but I just wasn’t interested in the Undertaker/Triple H setup for Wrestlemania on Raw last night. There is no logical reason why Triple H would want to interrupt Undertaker’s retuned, but hey this is professional wrestling after all. On a side note, year will mark the 10 year anniversary of the match they had together at Wrestlemania 17 at the Astrodome.

However, Taker and Hunter are two wrestlers that can have a good match with just about anyone in the world, not counting Kozlov, Khali, and Giant Gonzales. I’m sure they will pull off a great match, and end up stealing the show. The only match that would be better is if Jerry Lawler anally rapes Michael Cole for the whole world to see. Now that would be a good old fashion "SlobberKnocker".

Elimination Chamber 2011 Review

Match #1) Alberto Del Rio beat Kofi Kingston
    - Surprise Surprise Del Rio won
    - Good opening match
    - Kofi had some great spots

Match #2) Elimination Chamber #1 Smackdown
Order of entering             Order of elimination

4.Kane                            4. Kane
5.Drew McIntyre             5. Rey Mysterio

- Rey was abused during this match. He was thrown like a lawn dart by Drew and then Kane
- Edge double speared Rey and Kane
- Edge won with a spear to Rey when he was in mid air
- Awesome match (mostly because of the last 10 minutes with Rey and Edge)
- 1st time in 5 years the title has been retained
- Del Rio then came down and attacked Edge
- Christian returned and made the save

Then there was a backstage interview with Jerry Lawler
- This was the most serious I have seen The King be

Then Booker T announced Trish Stratus as one of the new Tough Enough coaches
- She still looks hot

Then there was one sweet commercial for "The Chaperone
- They actually said "Think Arnold Schwarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop, but better"

Match #3) Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel beat Santino & Kozlov
- New Tag Champs
- Could of been a main event on Sunday Night Heat

Then Vickie came out to tremendous heat and ask the people to Twitter and Facebook Teddy Long to get Dolf rehired
- Teddy came out and said he was in a hiring mood, but not with Dolf
- He hired Kelly Kelly back and she beat up Vickie
- Laycool came out and made the save
- Then Trish came and took out Laycool
- She botched a couple move, mainly because she decided to wear heels to the ring

Match #4 Miz beat The King
- Alex Riley got kicked out from ringside by the ref
- The highlight of the match was when Lawler threw Miz on to Michael Cole

Backstage they showed John Cena eating Fruity Pebbles

Match #5 Elimination Chamber #2 Raw
Order of entering            Order of Elimination
1. Morrison                    1. CM Punk
2. Sheamus                    2. R-Truth
3. Orton                         3. Orton
4. CM Punk                   4. Sheamus
5. Cena                          5. Morrison
6. R-Truth                      6. CM Punk
7. CM Punk                   7. Winner John Cena

- CM Punk's door got stuck and then he got eliminated a minute later
- The GM reversed the elimination
- CM Punk mocked Orton's viper fit he does and then followed up with a GTS
      - P.S. Punk is awesome
- Morrison climbed the top of the dome and dropped down on Sheamus to eliminate him
      - P.S. Morrison is Spiderman
- Morrison sold the hell out of a leg injury when he hit one of the pods
- Punk hit the GTS on Morrison to eliminate him
- Cena then hit the Attitude Adjuster on the steel floor to win and go to Wrestlemania 27 and face The Miz

Overall good PPV, Thanks to Edge, Rey, Punk, and Morrison

Chris Jericho's New Book

Chris Jericho's latest book is awesome, but you already know that. (Sorry to Alberto Del Rio for stealing that line) If you were/are a fan of Chris Jericho or WWE or pro wrestling in general, I guarantee you will love this book, but hey you don't have to take my word for it. (Sorry to LeVar Burton/ Reading Rainbow for stealing that line)

P.S. Elimination Chamber review will be up after the PPV tonight

Where are they now? Scotty “The Handyman” Henry

Not much is known about the lovechild of Mae Young and Mark Henry, other then being born on national TV in early 2000. After a month of emails and phone calls, I was able to track him down and get an update. Scott has been staying busy with steady commercial work and photo shoots since last appearing on Monday Night Raw. He did fall on hard times in 2007, and filmed a couple fetish porn films as a way to pay for his ever growing drug habit.
Hard Times for "The Handyman"
He has since made a complete turn around and has recently done modeling work for Apple’s new iphone and the 2011 Jostens class ring catalog. Scotty has also just landed “the role of a lifetime” in the new hit Broadway musical “The Addams Family” as Thing. He currently resides in West Hollywood with his life partner Rick. In closing, Scott would like to encourage everyone out there to follow their dreams and reach for the stars.

The Ultimate Relief

The Return of Rocky Maivia

I still haven’t got rid of the goosebumps from last night. That was one of the greatest moments in professional wrestling I have ever seen. I mean the last time I’ve been this excited about a Monday Night Raw was when Chris Jericho made his debut in 1999. I can’t give WWE enough credit for how well they pulled it off. Most people already knew that it was The Rock, but that didn’t matter at all. I honestly feel like a 10 year old kid again. Based off his performance, you would never guess that The Rock has been gone from wrestling for 7 years. Physically he looked amazing, his mic skills were amazing, and that’s why he is the People Champ. The only way I can sum up last night is to quote JR, “Business is about to pick up”.

Officially Marked Out

I have officially marked out over The Rock. The last 20 minutes of Raw was amazing and it's safe to say that The Rock still has IT.

Separated at Birth: The Grammy's Edition

The Gobbledy Gooker & Lady GaGa
The Gobbledy Gooker & Cee Lo Green

Who will host Wrestlemania?

The Rock to host Wrestlemania 27? Tune in to Raw tonight to find out

Against All Odds Results

1) Kaz beat Robbie E

2) Steiner, Beer Money beat Immortal Lackies (Rob Terry, Gunner, Murphy)
    - Steiner's promo before the match was tremendous
    - Robert Roode looked awesome as usual
    - Steiner hit a top rope frankensteiner for the win

3) Samoa Joe beat The Pope
     - When did Joe become The Green hornet. (he had Kato with)
     - Joe won with nice choke-hold via a roll up

4) Madison Rayne beat Mickie James

(Matt Morgan came out and called out Hernandez. Hernandez said Mexicans rule and that Morgan was a punk white boy. I have a feeling this is going to be Los Boricuas all over again, I wonder if Savio Vega is available?)

5) RVD beat Matt Hardy
     - Matt did a nice full body lock
     - Matt Hardy uses a Rick James song for his new nick name "Cold Blooded"
     - RVD won via 5 Star Frog Splash

(Bully Ray was then interviewed by Christy Hemme, he then proceeded to bullie her and tried to make her cry. That's just great. TNA has this whole campaign to "Eliminate the Hate" and to stop bullying. Yet they have a wrestler on their roster who's gimmick is that his a "Bully". I would also like to point out that he won his match tonight, and put Devon's son through a table. Great way to eliminate the hate TNA.)

6) Bully Ray beat Devon
     - With all due respect to Devon, but couldn't we have a Jay Lethal vs Amazing Red match instead?
     - Have a feeling that this is not over, should continue all the way to Lockdown
     - Mike Tenay said this was painful to watch when Ray was attacking Devon's kid, I agree that it was painful to watch, but for different reasons

7) Jeff Jarrett beat Kurt Angle
  - Great Match
  - Karen took her fingernails to the back of Kurt. I haven't seen this move since Hogan in the early 90's
  - Kurt Angle left his shoe in the ring, I guess this symbolizes he's done with wrestling. I'm sure they'll have a match at Victory Road next month.
  - Oh yeah and Kurt Angle cried in the ring after the match

8) Jeff Hardy beat Mr Anderson for the title
     - Finally Jeff Hardy has his Diva belt back

No More Cole

And I Quote “Please, Please, Please stop trying to get Michael Cole over as a heel”. You are only making him get the wrong kind of heat. Sure I want to see Lawler knock him out at Wrestlemania, but I also want to change the channel at some point every Monday and Friday night. I dare you to find someone who enjoys Michael Cole’s commentary besides Vince. Michael Cole just comes across as trying to hard to be hated. Ever since Bryan Danielson debuted on NXT, we’ve heard the same things over and over again. And I quote “He doesn’t even own a TV”, “He doesn’t eat meat”, “He’s from the minor leagues”. He may be from “the minor leagues”, but he’s better than 90% of the current roster. To quote Owen Hart and The Nation of Domination, “Enough is enough and it’s time for a change”.

And by the way, when the hell is this anonymous general manager going to pay off and why the hell don’t they use Good Old’ JR. You have the greatest play by play man in the business and you don’t use him. Brilliant I say, Brilliant. You realize how much better Raw would be with Jim Ross calling the matches, a lot better. Hellfire and Brimstone, what’s this world coming to?

Now go forth and buy some delicious barbecue sauce in protest of Michael Cole

What’s the Deal?: Phantasio

Here’s a gimmick that can’t go wrong. Let’s take this guy and dress him up like a mime and make him do magic tricks before he wrestles. We can even have him come down to the ring wearing a mask. Then we’ll have him take the mask off, and he’ll have face paint on that looks just like the mask. Brilliant! How could this not work? Phantasio would go on to have only two matches in the WWF. The first one was a good old fashion slobberknocker with Tony DeVito and second one was a house show against Rad Radford.

How bummed out must of that kid been that got the mask. The whole time he is hoping Bret Hart will come out and gives him his pink shades, but instead he gets a Phantasio mask. The sad thing is, I don’t want to think about how much I’d be willing to pay to get a hold of the mask. I really don’t know what Vince was thinking when he came up/approved the idea for Phantasio, but I guess that he is the same guy that thought it was a good idea to put “The American Dream” in polka dots.

The Poorman’s Road Warriors: Demolition

I think it’s safe to say that Demolition was a watered down S&M version of The Road Warriors. Everything from their look to their wrestling style was trying to be the Legion of Doom. However, Demolition did have one bad ass theme song performed by Rick Derringer. I’m not trying to take anything way from Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow, both guys have had a great career in wrestling. I will always have a special place in my heart for the Repo Man, but I’m just saying there is only one Legion of Doom. Even look at the finishing move names: Doomsday Device vs. Demolition Decapitation, but everyone around the world should agree that the Doomsday Device is by far a cooler move.

Also, Demolition kind of ripped off Hawk’s tongue gimmick too. The Road Warriors were often imitated, but never duplicated. That’s why they will forever be “The World’s Greatest Tag Team” (sorry Haas and Benjamin, but it’s true).

I would also like to point out a few things about the third member of Demolition, Crush. God rest his soul, but he become a poorman’s Hawaiian Brutus Beefcake after he left Demolition. It doesn’t stop there, after “Kona Crush” he became just “Crush”. His new gimmick was a Japanese sympathizer that wore makeup that looked a lot like Road Warrior Hawk. It always comes back to The Road Warriors

Lil' Luger?

After countless hours of searching the internets, I think I may have discovered a picture of Lex Luger's younger brother, Tex "The Total Bundle" Luger

Inside the Actor's Studio: Terry Funk

Today I was watching the Sylvester Stallone classic "Over the Top", and it made me realize that Terry Funk is in two of the greatest movies ever made. "Over the Top" and "Roadhouse". In both movies The Funker plays the lackie for a old rich douchbag. Some would say he is typecasted, I for one say he is awesome! Not only has Terry Funk battled Sabu in barbed wire matches and set Mick Foley on fire. He has also traded fistacuffs with Patrick "Dalton" Swayze and Sylvester "Hawk" Stallone. That is why I raise my mug of beer to Terry Funk. Thanks for the Ric Flair "I Quite Match" in 1989,  and thanks for these classic films. Oh yeah and also thanks for Chainsaw Charlie.

2/21/11

This promo aired on Raw last night. It makes you wonder if this is a build up to a dream match at Wrestlemania 27. If this does happen, I for one will be "marking out"

Sting vs Undertaker: Wrestlemania 27?
